  • Description

Our seedless Satsumas are hand cut with their flesh left loosely joined to the rind.  This Marmalade is delicious with a wonderful sweet tart balance and each jar tightly packed with fruit.  Winter was made for marmalade...

The Chinese name, Honey Citrus of Wenzhou,  references Wenzhou, a city in the Zhejiang Province of China known for its citrus production.  Ours are born in California but we like the history attached to the Chinese name.  The fruit was brought from Asia to New Spain by Jesuits and the groves started by Jesuits in the 18th century in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, have continued to the present day.
